About the founder/CEO
Our Story
Dr. Akira Olsen, PsyD, MA (aka "DrAkira) is a board-certified clinical psychologist (California State #23573; Nevada State #1167). She has 18+ years of clinical and counseling experience working with children, adolescents, parents, families, and parents in various San Francisco Bay Area settings, including community mental health clinics, schools, women's and family shelters, telehealth clinics, and private practice. She worked as a clinical researcher, faculty, and clinical supervisor at Stanford University and Palo Alto University from 2018-2022. She strives to promote youth and family mental health in California state and beyond.
